Supreme Legislation Committee attracts new batch of young UAE Nationals at Careers UAE 2016

The Supreme Legislation Committee (SLC) has announced its effective participation in the recently concluded Careers UAE 2016.SLC has made remarkable progress at a record time in empowering national human resources so they may effectively contribute to developing the legislative and legal system in Dubai. The SLC stand attracted a big turnout of UAE fresh graduates and qualified experts looking for career advancement opportunities within one of the most competitive, creativity and innovation-inspiring work environments across the Dubai public sector.

H.E. Ahmed bin Meshar, Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee, expressed his pride in Emiratis who are gradually making progress on the path of development, knowledge and leadership to contribute to the development, progress and prosperity of Dubai and the UAE. He emphasized his dedication to providing the needed methods to improve the knowledge of UAE people by buying, and boosting their capabilities and abilities with a view to helping them satisfy their capacities in line with the Dubai development plans.

Moza Al Mansouri, Head of Human Resources Section at SLC, said: "Our involvement in Careers UAE 2016 is targeted at attaining the Emiratization target which continues to be the tactical priority of the SLC's General Secretariat. The SLC was established in 2014 pursuant to Decree No. (23) of 2014 released by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in line with the 'Government of Dubai Strategic Plan'. The SLC is entrusted with releasing and examining the legislation of the emirate through reliable specific procedures and methodologies, and aims to improve the legislative process and the quality and efficiency of legislation, to make sure combination and consistency of legislation with the arrangements of the Constitution, and existing federal and regional legislation, and to construct a legal system that meets the aspirations and future outlook of the emirate of Dubai.
