DEWA motivates staff about Excellence
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has organised an Excellence Motivational Session for DEWAs staff. The Corporate Excellence department of DEWAs Strategy and Business Development division, organised the session, which was attended by Marwan Alzaabi, Vice President of Corporate Excellence, department heads and staff from different departments across DEWA. The session supports DEWAs commitment to motivating its staff and encouraging them to adopt corporate excellence in their day-to-day activities. It also supports DEWAs vision to become a sustainable innovative world-class utility and its strategy to promote corporate excellence and its practices according to the highest international standards.
Alzaabi noted that DEWA adopts international best practices across all its operations and is committed to instilling a culture of corporate excellence among all its staff, partners, and stakeholders. He emphasised DEWAs commitment to engage its staff in supporting its journey towards excellence. This supports Dubai Governments vision and the Dubai Government Excellence Programmes objectives.
The session discussed methods and ways to further instil excellence across all DEWAs departments and staff. It highlighted the mechanism for implementing the New Excellence Wave, which DEWA launched earlier this year to enhance a number of its programmes and initiatives that promote corporate excellence among staff across all departments and areas of work.
A large number of staff took part in the Excellence Motivational Session. It concluded with a questions-and-answers session on DEWAs strategy and plans in corporate excellence.
