Gulf Bank Platinum Sponsor of the 27th Memorial Journey for Pearl Diving

Gulf Bank announced its platinum sponsorship of the 27th Memorial Journey for Pearl Diving. The journey, which runs between 6th and 13th of August, has been organized by the Committee of the Marine Heritage of the Kuwait Sea Sport Club, on yearly bases, under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of Kuwait.

Gulf Bank believes in the importance of reviving heritage and preserving the traditions of Kuwaits unique past. The Pearl Diving Festival allows the bank to reminisce and value ancient behaviors of our forefathers as well as our traditions. Gulf Bank is a proud supporter of this important cultural initiative.

During the yearly memorial journey, young participants are reminded of the difficulties Kuwaiti sailors faced before oil was discovered, along with the traditions and values their ancestors developed during these times.
