Umm Al Emarat Park hosts The Rage for the fourth year in a row

Umm Al Emarat Park, Abu Dhabi’s largest green space, is set to host The Rage for the fourth consecutive year, returning from January 7 to 11 with a new Tokyo-inspired theme that promises five days of entertainment, food and community-focused activities.

This year’s edition introduces the theme We Meet in Tokyo, drawing inspiration from the Japanese capital’s culture, craftsmanship and creativity. The concept has been reimagined to suit local audiences, bringing a vibrant Tokyo-style atmosphere to Abu Dhabi through live performances, interactive experiences and a diverse culinary offering.

Running over five days, the event features an extensive programme designed for visitors of all ages. In line with the UAE’s Year of Family, the festival places a strong emphasis on togetherness, offering fashion showcases, creative workshops, live music and engaging activities aimed at creating a shared winter experience for families and friends.

The Rage will host more than 100 retail, food and beverage, and entertainment vendors. The Food and Beverage Zone will feature food trucks, casual seating areas, live entertainment and games, while the Retail Zone will showcase a curated selection of fashion, perfumes, footwear and jewellery in a premium setting.

A popular line-up of activities and performances will return this year, including the Park Market, cinema screenings, puppet shows, LED stilt walker performances, a football competition, open reading competitions and a range of roaming and interactive entertainment.

In addition to the main festival, visitors to Umm Al Emarat Park from Friday, January 9 to Sunday, January 11 can enjoy the Park Market on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm, alongside live stage performances and family-friendly attractions. These include music shows, giant mascots, gaming in the park, arts and crafts plantation activities, dancing with characters, skill-based games and creative installations.

The park will also host Cinema at the Park on Friday and Saturday evenings, featuring family-friendly and adventure-led films suitable for all ages. Cinematic Sundays will take place from 6pm in collaboration with Image Nation, offering a relaxed outdoor movie experience as part of the winter festivities.
