T11 appoints Rob Hallett as President of Global Music and Festivals
Theory 11 Entertainment (T11) has appointed veteran British music executive Rob Hallett as President of Global Music and Festivals, reinforcing its commitment to delivering world-class entertainment experiences across the GCC.
Hallett brings more than 40 years of experience in the global live entertainment industry, having worked with some of the biggest names in music, including Michael Jackson, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Bieber.
Proven global leadership in live entertainment
Hallett founded AEG Live’s UK and international operations in 2005, overseeing landmark projects such as Prince’s 21-night sold-out residency at London’s O2 Arena and the launch of BST Hyde Park, now one of the UK’s leading annual concert series.
Throughout his career, he has managed arena, stadium and festival tours across Europe, North America and Asia, working with artists spanning generations and genres — from Beyoncé and Jay-Z to Drake and Burna Boy.
In his new role at T11, Hallett will lead the company’s global music and festival strategy, focusing on artist partnerships, international tour routing and the development of large-scale, destination-led music events that support the region’s rapidly expanding live entertainment ecosystem.
Building on Offlimits Music Festival success
Founded in 2023, T11 has quickly established itself within the regional music scene, notably through the launch of the Offlimits Music Festival. The inaugural edition was headlined by Ed Sheeran and featured acts including OneRepublic, Kaiser Chiefs, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Faithless.
The second edition, scheduled for 4 April 2026, will be headlined by global superstar Shakira, alongside performances from the Jonas Brothers, Biffy Clyro, NE-YO and others.
“Great music shows don’t happen by accident — they are built on deep expertise, trusted relationships and meticulous execution,” said Sia Farr, CEO and Managing Director of Theory 11 Entertainment. “Rob brings all three. His appointment reflects our belief that excellence on stage begins with excellence behind the scenes.”
Supporting the GCC’s cultural growth
Hallett previously left AEG in 2014 to launch independent music company Robomagic and has also worked with Live Nation. He remains active in philanthropic initiatives supporting healthcare, social causes and sustainability within the creative industries.
“The GCC is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s most dynamic live entertainment markets,” Hallett said. “T11 has already demonstrated its ability to deliver standout experiences. I look forward to helping build festivals and concerts that rival the best in the world.”
Through strategic talent acquisition and high production standards, T11 aims to play a leading role in shaping the future of live music and experiential events across the GCC, contributing to the region’s creative economy and expanding its global cultural footprint.
