Dubai October 7 2014: In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the UAE will host the Summit on the Global Agenda from November 9 11, 2014, to be attended by more than 1,000 experts from around the world.

His Excellency Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Summit on Global Agenda said The strategic role played by the UAE in discussing global challenges and finding ideal solutions on various global issues highlights the leading position the country has achieved under the wise leadership globally. Hosting this prestigious event for the 7th consecutive year reflects the success of the UAE in hosting a global gathering that brings together the worlds foremost thinkers and professionals here, added HE Al Gergawi.

The Summit will host global thought leaders who will meet and interact to draw on the best knowledge resources to address pressing problems facing humanity. The Summit will recommend solutions that can be integrated into the international decision-making processes. The Summit will also present excellent opportunities for leading UAE innovators and thinkers to engage with their counterparts from all over the world.

The outcome of the Global Agenda Meeting forms the basis of the Annual World Economic Forum to be held in Davos 2015.
