Raytheon Appoints Christopher J. Davis President, Raytheon International Inc.

Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has appointed Christopher J. Davis as president, Raytheon International Inc. effective immediately.

Davis will report to John Harris, vice president, Business Growth and Chief Executive Officer, RII, and be based in Washington, D.C.

" Chris has a tested track record in global business and business development that makes him the perfect prospect to purposefully own our top global initiatives," said Harris. "He will lead the worldwide RII team to expand global sales."

Davis replaces Thomas A. Vecchiolla, that recently retired after 15 years with the company.

Davis has spent much of his industry and armed forces jobs abroad with 3 years in Japan and more than 15 years in the United Arab Emirates. He functioned as nation leader and president, RII in the UAE since July 2014. In January 2006, he joined the Raytheon Rocket Systems business growth group to expand their worldwide portfolio in the center East North Africa region. Davis is a retired Marine aviator, and prior to signing up with Raytheon, he had senior tasks working with the United States Consular office in Abu Dhabi, and the chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce. He has a bachelor's of scientific research level in commercial engineering from Union University and a master's degree in protection researches from the Marine Corps University.
