Rain Likely in Some Areas as Abu Dhabi Temperatures Reach 45°C

Residents across the UAE can expect fair to partly cloudy conditions with a chance of rainfall in some areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

The weather department said convective clouds are expected to form over eastern and southern areas during the afternoon, potentially extending to some internal regions and bringing rainfall.

Despite the possibility of showers, temperatures will remain high across the country, with maximum temperatures expected to reach 48°C in some areas.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai Temperatures

Abu Dhabi is forecast to record a high of around 45°C, while temperatures in Dubai could reach 43°C. Sharjah is expected to see temperatures of up to 44°C.

The combination of high temperatures and humidity will continue to contribute to hot summer conditions across much of the UAE.

Strong Winds Could Stir Up Dust

Winds are expected to be light to moderate, becoming fresh to strong at times, particularly around convective clouds.

The stronger winds could stir up dust and sand, potentially reducing visibility in affected areas. Motorists are advised to exercise caution when driving through areas experiencing blowing dust or sudden weather changes.

Humidity and Mist Expected

Humidity is expected to increase during the night and on Thursday morning, particularly over some western coastal areas.

The NCM also indicated a possibility of mist formation in those areas during the early hours.

Sea Conditions Remain Slight

Sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

The forecast reflects the UAE's continuing summer weather pattern, with high temperatures accompanied by occasional convective cloud development and localised rainfall, particularly over eastern and southern parts of the country.
