Hitit and Pegasus Airlines Set Global Benchmark in Modern Airline Retailing with Hitit Oxygen Platform

In a landmark achievement for global aviation, Hitit and Pegasus Airlines have unveiled the world’s largest live Modern Airline Retailing platformHitit Oxygen—marking a major step forward in the airline industry’s digital transformation.

The collaboration enables Pegasus Airlines to distribute personalized and complementary travel products not only through its direct channels, but also across global indirect sales networks, creating a seamless and enriched passenger experience.

As one of the world’s top three airline and travel technology providers, Hitit partnered with Pegasus Airlines, Türkiye’s leading low-cost carrier, to pioneer this transformation. The achievement is being showcased globally through a joint case study on Hitit Oxygen, highlighting how next-generation retailing can enhance airline profitability and passenger engagement.

At the core of this innovation is the Hitit Oxygen Offer and Order Management System (OOMS), developed in full compliance with IATA’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) and ONE Order standards. This system allows Pegasus to generate and manage offers in real time, fully integrating flight and ancillary services such as baggage, meals, and upgrades—across all distribution channels.

With Hitit Oxygen, Pegasus can now deliver personalized, dynamic offers and boost ancillary revenue while improving operational efficiency. The platform is projected to process over 12 million passenger transactions by the end of 2026, making it the largest active deployment of Modern Airline Retailing technology worldwide.
