Huawei has announced the commercial availability of the world's first 8x8 MIMO LTE external CPE (customer premises equipment) B3368. The B3368 offers up to 1 Gb / s of experience and triples the FWA capacity compared to the MBB benchmarks. This innovation enables operators to provide services such as fiber over LTE networks, while increasing both spectral performance and the value of LTE networks.
Global LTE Fixed Wireless Access Broadband (4G FWA) has grown rapidly, from 4G / 5G FWA suburbs to low-speed, low-speed copper lines to high-speed optical fiber Expanded to medium size. Companies (SMEs). As smart home, 4K, and AR / VR services mature, fixed broadband rates should increase from 10–20 mb/ s to 25–100Mb/s. Huawei's latest LTE CPE P3368 enables operators to quickly deploy 4G FWA services to improve LTE networks, providing high-value fixed broadband users and sustainable revenue growth to deliver fiber-like experiences.
1Gb / s rate for a fiber-like premium experience: B3368 supports all FDD and TDD bands, 4CC CA supports maximum bandwidth of 80 MHz and 256QAM. By combining powerful functions, this product supports a peak rate of up to 1 Gb/s.
Triple Spectrum Performance and Provisioning Capabilities: The B3368 supports 8x8 MIMO and 4-SRS antenna selection. Together with Huawei's leading heavy MIMO base stations, the product is three times more efficient than MBB base stations. The service delivery capability is also threefold, which enables operators to reduce broadband services to more homes and enterprises without reducing the cost of a tax by 60% without using new base stations.
Smart antenna selection simplifies installation and reduces costs: B3368's built-in antennas support smart antenna selection, meaning that the base station that provides the best signal quality is always selected during the initial installation and requires manual adjustment of the antenna azimuths during network changes. Installation is threefold, reducing installation and maintenance costs.
Zhang Yiq, director of WTTx Domain of Huawei said: “4G / 5G enables FWA operators to quickly deliver standard broadband services. In 2018, 4G FWA connections are expected to reach FDDH in markets outside China. 4G / 5G FWA services are also evolving in the wireless fiber era. Wireless fibers contribute to the widespread use and development of standard broadband.”
By September 2019, 230 4G FWA networks were used worldwide. Huawei's LTE CPE P3368 operators, which aim to increase the speed of home broadband in developed countries, increase the availability of affordable home broadband in developing countries, prevent digital divide between families, and achieve "broadband, wireless first". The 2019 Global Mobile Broadband Forum is attended by more than 1,600 operators, businesses, vertical markets, fixed and industry organizations and media and analyst companies from around the world.
Demonstrations on the site showcase the latest 5G technology solutions, business cases and rich applications, including 5G Cloud AR / VR, Direct 8K broadcasts via 5G, and 5G-enabled machine vision and remote control.
