Group-IB and VAS Integrated Solutions sign MoU to enhance cybersecurity cooperation in Saudi Arabia
Group-IB, a global cybersecurity technology provider specialising in the investigation and prevention of digital crime, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VAS Integrated Solutions to strengthen cybersecurity cooperation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
VAS Integrated Solutions is a value-added distributor providing integrated IT solutions across multiple market verticals. The agreement aims to explore strategic collaboration and channel-led expansion opportunities across the Kingdom, supporting the growing demand for advanced cybersecurity capabilities amid an increasingly complex digital threat landscape.
The MoU establishes a framework for knowledge-sharing, joint innovation and the development of cybersecurity solutions tailored to regional requirements. It was signed on the sidelines of Black Hat MEA by Mohammad Flaifel, Regional Sales Director for Saudi Arabia and Türkiye at Group-IB, and Bilal Abdulrahman, Country Manager for KSA and GCC at VAS Integrated Solutions.
Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate on joint market development, partner enablement and awareness initiatives. The partnership is grounded in Group-IB’s adversary-centric and predictive approach to cyber threat and fraud intelligence, supported by its Digital Crime Resistance Center (DCRC) model. This approach combines regional expertise in the Middle East and Africa with global threat intelligence and investigative capabilities, enabling organisations in Saudi Arabia to anticipate, prevent and respond to cyber and fraud threats with greater speed and local context.
By leveraging VAS Integrated Solutions’ local ecosystem, partner network and market reach, the collaboration aims to deliver these cybersecurity capabilities effectively to organisations across the Kingdom. The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals and national priorities for strengthening cyber resilience.
The MoU also places strong emphasis on cybersecurity awareness and education. Planned initiatives include the development of educational resources, joint webinars, workshops and training sessions for industry professionals, as well as potential participation in advisory groups to help elevate cybersecurity awareness at a national level.
Commenting on the partnership, Mohammad Flaifel said the agreement marks an important milestone in Group-IB’s long-term channel strategy in Saudi Arabia and reflects the company’s commitment to building a safer digital environment. He added that working closely with VAS will help expand Group-IB’s footprint in the Kingdom and better support partners and customers with advanced cyber and fraud intelligence capabilities tailored to local threats.
Bilal Abdulrahman said the partnership reinforces VAS Integrated Solutions’ commitment to enhancing cybersecurity awareness and addressing critical digital challenges in Saudi Arabia. He noted that the collaboration aims to empower organisations with the tools and knowledge required to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats across the Kingdom and the wider region.
