Emirates News Agency(WAM) and RT Television Network have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen teamwork and to promote the exchange of info consisting of information and broadcast web content.

In the presence of His Excellency Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Director General of the National Media Council; HE Mohammad Jalal Al Rayssi, Executive Director of the Emirates Information Firm WAM, and Maya Manna, Head of RT Arabic, authorized the MoU at the Council's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

HE Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansoori said: "This MoU reflects the National Media Council's technique to enhance cooperation and collaborations with principals in the global media industry to satisfy the national objectives of the UAE Centennial 2071 strategy. We are confident that the MoU will certainly add to the empowerment and more development both parties."

Maya Manna said: "At RT Arabic, we appreciate the quick and distinctive development of WAM as a news firm, which mirrors the advancement of media in the UAE. To collaborate with WAM is among the most promising possibilities for us in the Gulf region."

As per the agreement, the two entities will certainly work towards boosting relations in between the media fields in both nations. They will certainly trade information, programs, on-air competitors, and web content to serve their purposes and future vision.
