UAE and Pakistan Sign Visa Exemption MoU During Joint Ministerial Commission in Abu Dhabi
The United Arab Emirates and Pakistan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the mutual exemption of entry visa requirements, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
The agreement was finalized during the 12th session of the UAE-Pakistan Joint Ministerial Commission, held in Abu Dhabi. The MoU was signed in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, and Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.
The visa exemption deal is expected to facilitate easier travel for citizens of both countries, enhancing cooperation across economic, social, and cultural domains. The broader meeting also featured discussions on mutual trade, investment opportunities, and strategic collaboration in various sectors, reaffirming the long-standing ties between the UAE and Pakistan.
This move reflects a shared commitment to fostering greater connectivity, boosting tourism, and promoting closer people-to-people contact between the two countries.
