A role model of distinction and success, the hardworking Emirati women and their offerings to society are key to advancing the UAEs development process and improving the countrys global influence across all fronts.

Themed, Preparing for the Next 50 years: Women are the Support of the Nation, this years presentation of the Emirati Womens Day highlights the part of female citizens in the journey for notable progress and maturity. Managing the efforts to improve their well-being and empowerment is the thoughtful leaderships perception of their great place in the UAEs mission for the ensuing 50 years.

The move of our wise leaders to adopt human growth, gender equality and women empowerment policies have commenced to our women strongly taking on top-level offices in key sectors and actively involving in more challenging tasks that are important to the countrys sustainable development. Restrictions have been removed as well, empowering them to execute their part in the societys progress more assuredly.

At Ajman Free Zone, we encourage fully the empowerment of Emirati women by giving them equal access to all opportunities. This dedication is apparent in the fact that they hold 50 per cent of management roles and estimate for 65 per cent of the entire UAE inhabitants working in the free zone. The numbers are a testimonial to our continued initiatives to help them grow an active patron to the development of the free zone sector in the country.

Motivated by the legacy of our founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the actions promoting women empowerment have helped boost the UAEs rankings on gender justice and human growth indexes.
