Shaner Hotels Partners with Dubai-Based The First Group to Expand in Cyprus and Gulf Region

Shaner Hotels, an award-winning international hotel owner, operator, and developer, has announced a strategic alliance with Dubai-based The First Group. The partnership aims to expand their presence throughout Cyprus and the Gulf region, starting with The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott.

The First Collection, a 40-story luxury hotel in Dubai, marks the debut of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio brand in the Middle East. The hotel boasts 491 suites and premium amenities such as a business lounge, swimming pool, fitness center, and spa facilities. Located in the bustling Jumeirah Village Circle, it provides easy access to Dubai’s beaches, Downtown Dubai, and Al Maktoum International Airport.

Key Highlights of the Partnership

• Focus on Expansion: The alliance will focus on hotel management agreements (HMAs) throughout the Middle East, North Africa, Greece, and Cyprus. Properties will operate under The First Collection, Tribute Portfolio, and other Marriott International brands.
• Strategic Operations: The partnership leverages Shaner Hotels’ operational systems and The First Group’s experience to provide end-to-end services for hotel projects, from site selection to final sale.
