The Search is on for the Best Inventors, Artists, Poets and Photographers as the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition Launches Four Competitions

The Higher Organizing Committee of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) has announced the launch of a series of competitions in hunting and falconry innovations, poetry, art and photography. This announcement reflects the concerted efforts of the Committee to add new and distinctive features to the current edition, which is the biggest in the history of the exhibition since its beginning in 2003.

Organised by the Emirates Falconers Club (EFC) and held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of Emirates Falconers Club, ADIHEX will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from August 27th to the 31st under the theme "Together to Consolidate Sustainable Hunting Initiatives.
These competitions intent to preserve the national heritage and instill it in the youth of both genders so they can pass it onto upcoming generations. It also objects to encourage creativity and develop talented young people.

The Higher Organising Committee launches The Innovation Hub to celebrate the best ideas or inventions by industry professionals including falconry shop owners for their best ideas or inventions in the hunting equipment and falconry sector.

In the Nabati Poetry Competition, three winning entries will be awarded under the following categories: the best poem in describing birds, the best poem in describing hunting and the best poem describing the loss of birds. Each poet can participate in all three categories of the competitions and submit poems that have never been published before, that are 15 to 30 lines long.

Artists who wish to compete in the Art Competition are given the freedom to choose their preferred materials and should submit original pieces in frames not exceeding 1 m x 1 m in size. Twenty of the winning entries will be featured for sale at the exhibition.
Last but not the least is the Photography Competition which is intended to feature the concepts and creativities surrounding the Year of Tolerance in the United Arab Emirates. Content creators and photographers are encouraged to submit new and never been exhibited photos in any other competitions, and no less than 2000 pixels.

Aside from exciting prizes, an opportunity to be featured in the next edition of ADIHEX await all winners of these competitions. An awarding ceremony will be held on the 31st August, which marks the culmination of the 5-day event.
