Saudi Female Journalists Get a Taste for Automotive Writing with Ford in Dubai

Ford Middle East and Africa has welcomed two Saudi women journalists right into the world of automotive journalism as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starts its countdown to the training of the ban on women driving.

Layan Damanhouri from English day-to-day Saudi Gazette and Nawal Turki AlJabr, head of the Ladies' Area at Al Riyadh Arabic daily and seasoned radio presenter, spent two days at Ford Middle East's head office in Dubai learning new abilities with Ford's Product Development and Engineering teams, and Ford's storytelling team at the Material Factory.

" This is a historic moment and a unique possibility to encourage females to become associated with an interesting career relocation," stated Sue Nigoghossian, General manager, MENA Communications at Ford. Excellent automotive writing thrives on the independent views of well-informed journalists and were excited to help these two female journalists find their voice and listen to their unique take on the motoring industry.

The two journalists learnt more about the features and technologies they would should try to find when evaluating and examination driving a vehicle; exactly how ideal to write their tales in an engaging means; and ways to create compelling car digital photography.

Layan Damanhouri said, "It's been an extremely pleasurable and informing experience to learn about the various aspects of automobile journalism especially in exactly what takes place in media journeys, examination drives, narration, writing, and digital photography."

"What I liked about this introductory program is learning more about the essentials of a car from the experts," Damanhouri added. "From the journalism side, it's fantastic to learn from former reporters and communications professionals about exactly what distinguishes high quality vehicle journalism. For me it was a good begin to serve my curiosity and inspired me to examine some recommendations such as magazines, Instagram accounts, and TV programs later on. It's an excellent effort because it provides understanding to journalism as well as public relationships in the auto industry."
