University of Balamand Dubai (UOBD) and Academia Management Solutions International (AMSI), the administrating body dealing the Al Mawakeb Schools and ISAS (International School of Arts and Science) in Dubai, have reported the signing of a MoU. The MoU repeats UOBDs commitment to giving quality education.

The MOU, intending to give a system of participation and encourage joint effort between the two foundations in territories of mutual interest was marked for the benefits of the individual establishments by, Dr Walid Moubayed, CEO and Vice-Chancellor of University of Balamand Dubai (UOBD) and AMSI group school principals - Mr. Mousa Chahbaz, Principal, Al Mawakeb Al Barsha, Mr. Omar Hatoum, Principal, Al Mawakeb Al Garhoud,Mr. Michael Popinchalk, Principal, Al Mawakeb Al Khawaneej and Mr. Muhieddine Soubra, Principal of ISAS.

Complementing UOBDs thorough educational plan of the Professional Teaching Diploma Program (TD), the collaboration effort engages UOBDTD students with a platform to acquire hands-on field teaching experience from a portion of the exceptionally experienced educators in the field, spread over the AMSI schools.

Engaging AMSI, the coordinated effort will furnish AMSI schools with a pool of exceptionally qualified prospective teacher candidates, acquainted with AMSI mission, school and classroom culture, facilitating smoother and faster on-board sessions.The agreement between both the parties is legitimate for a period of three years, with review of the Teacher Training Program at yearly intervals.

With the training segment, advancing at a quick pace, new procedures and encouraging methodologies are being inquired about and executed in the classroom, involving a more noteworthy requirement for educational experts to fortify their portfolio and upgrade skills by creating specialized knowledge of the schooling system as one of the vital steps in the teaching career. The TD program is a pre-requisite for aspiring candidates to be a teacher anywhere in the region and UOBD is pleased to bring its demonstrated skill from its Lebanon campus to the UAE.

UOBDs Professional Teaching Diploma program is authorize from the CAA (Commission for Academic Accreditation) and the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority). With accentuation on curriculum development, instructional design, pedagogy, assessment, cognitive and affective development, and teacher leadership competencies, UOBDs teaching program positions aspiring teachers at the cutting edge of development and best practice in the training segment.

UOBDs Professional Teaching Diploma program, intended to be finished within a period of one year, mixes down to earth practical experiences with theoretical studies, preparing aspiring teachers for a career in teaching with industry-best tools & strategies. The program has been successfully planned in the evenings and over the weekend for working professionals.
