Dubai Judicial Institute Honours Trainers of Accredited Judicial and Legal Studies Program
The Dubai Judicial Institute (DJI) has honoured 34 distinguished trainers who contributed to the success of the inaugural cohort of the accredited “Judicial and Legal Studies Program for Judicial Trainees” during a ceremony held under the theme “Pioneers of Training Excellence: A Lasting Impact.”
The ceremony, held in the presence of H.E. Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed, Acting President of Dubai Courts for Judicial Affairs, and H.E. Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director General of the Dubai Judicial Institute, recognised the trainers’ pivotal role in transferring knowledge, developing national capabilities, and nurturing the next generation of judicial talent.
The first cohort of the programme comprised 36 trainees across two specialised tracks — General Law and Personal Status and Inheritance Law.
A Milestone in Judicial Capacity Building
Addressing the ceremony, H.E. Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed highlighted that the recognition reflects the UAE’s commitment to investing in human capital, viewing it as an investment in both the present and the future.
“The efforts of the DJI’s administration and training team in preparing judicial trainees are commendable,” H.E. said. “Their goal is to equip trainees with the skills needed to contribute to an advanced judicial system that evolves alongside legislative developments, enhancing the quality of judicial performance and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for justice.”
Driving Innovation in Judicial Training
H.E. Judge Dr. Ebtessam Ali Al Badwawi, Director General of DJI, underscored the importance of trainers in building a sustainable and future-ready judicial model.
“This group of trainers has been instrumental in supporting our mission to deliver a world-class experience in judicial training and development,” she said. “Their expertise and dedication have transformed the learning environment into an interactive platform that combines theory with practice, leaving a lasting and meaningful impact on the trainees.”
Dr. Al Badwawi also expressed appreciation for the support of Dubai Courts and partner entities, as well as for the trainees’ commitment to excellence and professional growth.
Advancing Judicial Excellence Through Innovation
The honoured trainers were recognised for their innovative training methods and use of advanced digital tools, particularly through the ‘Dubai Judicial Training Platform’, which provided an interactive and data-driven learning experience. Their contributions included developing standardised assessments, creating specialised learning materials, and promoting judicial thinking and analytical skills among trainees.
The “Judicial and Legal Studies Program for Judicial Trainees” is one of the most comprehensive accredited training initiatives in the UAE’s judicial sector. Designed to prepare and qualify Emirati judicial professionals, the programme aligns with Dubai’s vision to build a justice system rooted in excellence, sustainability, and innovation.
By combining academic knowledge with practical judicial application, the programme represents a transformative step toward strengthening the human capital ecosystem in Dubai’s judiciary and ensuring continued leadership in judicial excellence.
