A multilingual audience gathers at the historic Papal Mass at Zayed Sports City Stadium, Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 05 February 2019: A massive crowd of over 130,000 people gathers at the Zayed Sports City Stadium, Abu Dhabi, today, to attend the Mass blessed by the holy presence of H.H. Pope Francis upon his historic visit to the Arabian Peninsula.

The visit of the Pope is also aligned with the countrys many steps towards observing the year 2019 as the Year of Tolerance.

While many ardent attendees witness the Papal Mass inside the stadium, a larger crowd that didnt get the tickets, stand outside listening, such has been the response to the Papal Mass in the UAE.

Road closures were announced ahead of the Papal mass in the capital city. According to announcements made earlier, those with a ticket to the Papal Mass are eligible for a paid leave today, while holidays have been called out for school students as well with regard to the Popes visit.

The emotional crowd at the stadium will be elevated to dignified heights with the presence of H.H. Pope Francis as he takes over the Altar at Zayed Sports City Stadium.
