Remaining true to its theme of Every step is a new adventure, Modhesh World is celebrating the first steps of many little visitors delighting parents from around the world, with memories of a lifetime. Mena Al Shaikhs parents are amongst these parents who have been left overjoyed by the pleasant surprise from their daughter.

Mena, who is 1-year-old, successfully attempted her first steps at Modhesh World while being engrossed in the fun-filled surroundings of the popular family-friendly edutainment destination.

Menas father who was spotted following her everywhere, was thrilled to see his daughter graduate to walking on her own and expressed his endless joy and excitement in being able to witness the precious moment at Modhesh World.

In another hall, Robert Martin George, was spotted playing with a red balloon that he caught after a fantastic balloon drop surprised all the visitors watching of the many stage shows at Modhesh World.

Beaming with joy, Robert also gave his parents a lovely surprise by taking his first couple of steps on his own without falling. Sharing her excitement, Roberts mom, said: I am extremely happy that my son took first steps here at Modhesh World. He has attempted it several times at home but fell on the ground each time. Today, while crawling towards the balloon, he managed to walk on his own.

With Modhesh World being the favourite spot of toddlers and infants including those just beginning to walk, parents find the vast stretches of spaces and vibrant atmosphere of Modhesh World to be significant factors contributing to babies early stage developments.

Amnah Nouh Al Saygh, who is 18 months old, is also among the little champions of Modhesh World who have made their parents proud by putting their best foot forward. Amnah impressed her parents by walking up till the souvenir shop on her own to pick up a Modhesh toy for herself.

Modhesh World is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). The 16th edition of Modhesh World, which kicked off on 9 July 2015 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and runs until 29 August under the theme- Every step is a new adventure, has many other features and facilities including exclusive souvenir shops showcasing Modhesh World memorabilia, an array of dining outlets featuring a variety of cuisines, in addition to two dedicated lounges for families to relax. Modhesh World opens at 9am until midnight from Saturday to Wednesday and from 9am to 1am on Thursdays and Fridays. The entrance fee is AED 20 for kids and adults and entry is free for kids under 3 years of age.
