KidZania Kuwait Celebrates Global Earth Hour Initiative

Kuwait, 29 March, 2015 KidZania Kuwait, the exciting kid-sized metropolis, celebrated Earth Hour yesterday as part of its Kids for a Greener World environmental awareness program.

Celebrated on 28th March every year, Earth Hour is a global initiative observed by many organizations worldwide to advocate reducing energy by switching off all unnecessary lights on the planet for one hour.

This year, KidZania observed Earth Hour by dimming the lights at the airport area as well as switching off its street signage lights. Dressed in white and holding colorful LED light jars, KidZanias staff members performed a spectacular flash mob at the citys Central Plaza along with KidZanias beloved RightZkeeper, Vita, who represents the right to Care and is a strong advocate of nature.

Running from March 26 till May 2, Kids for a Greener World is a yearly environmental program that takes place across all KidZania cities worldwide, and aims at teaching kids how to become more responsible towards the environment through a range of fun, eco-friendly practices.
