InterSystems appoints Ali Abi Raad as its Country Manager for the Middle East

InterSystems, a global leader in information technology platforms for health, business, and government applications, has promoted Ali Abi Raad to the position of Country Manager. Abi Raads leadership integrates the sales, implementation and customer relations functions to focus on meeting client needs across the Middle East.

The Middle East healthcare market has the vision and leadership to innovate. Alis appointment and the hiring of 24 new staff members will further expand our young, energetic team to ensure InterSystems can help realize this potential, said Michel Amous, InterSystems Managing Director for France, Italy, Middle East, South Africa and India. Alis proven business approach over the past 5 years at InterSystems has earned him the trust of our clients and partners. He builds long-term partnerships that put our customers success first every time, and this is the main driver for his well-deserved new appointment.
In his new position as InterSystems Country Manager for the Middle East, Abi Raad will:
Continue to enable the delivery of high-value, sustainable care through the adoption of InterSystems TrakCare health information system, the worlds most proven EMR system. With a focus on TrakCare as a service with its integrated Revenue Cycle Management that delivers faster time to value with a flexible Pay-Per-Usage financial model.
Expand beyond delivering hospitals and laboratories solutions. Ali Abi Raad will help organizations and communities fully realize the value of their health data and connect and standardize processes for improved operational efficiencies, insight, and better population health. He will achieve this using the InterSystems HealthShare family of connected health products. These provide configurable solutions for care coordination; personalized population health management; analytics assisted by artificial intelligence; health information exchange, and interoperability.

Before joining InterSystems, Abi Raad was a senior executive at Cerner Middle East and held roles in sales and business development in multiple regional and multinational organizations. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut.
