Huawei Showcases Comprehensive Smart Education Solutions at ThinkAI Forum in Uzbekistan

Huawei reinforced its commitment to digital transformation in the education sector by hosting the ThinkAI Smart Education Forum during the Huawei Technology Carnival and Partner Summit 2025 in Uzbekistan. The forum, held under the theme “Accelerating Access to the Intelligent World,” served as a platform for unveiling Huawei’s integrated smart education innovations tailored for institutions across the Middle East and Central Asia.

In his opening address, Zongliang, President of Huawei's Middle East and Central Asia Strategy, highlighted the company's commitment to creating intelligent learning environments through the use of advanced ICT solutions. He noted that Huawei’s efforts aim not just to provide technological tools but also to prepare students for the digital economy by integrating innovation into educational ecosystems.

“We don’t just shape talent to serve intelligence—we also enable intelligence to serve that talent,” said Zongliang. “Together, we’re building a smarter, more inclusive future for learners everywhere.”

Rustam Karimzhanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, stressed the importance of public-private cooperation in advancing digital education. He pointed to the success of partnerships with Huawei, including the establishment of ICT academies in 15 leading universities and support for international certifications. According to Karimzhanov, these initiatives are helping students gain critical skills in AI, cloud technologies, and 5 G.

The forum also featured international thought leaders, including Professor Mohamed Jemni of ALECSO and UNESCO-IITE, who spoke on the role of artificial intelligence in transforming higher education in the Arab region. He emphasized the importance of Huawei's collaboration with UNESCO in fostering global ICT talent development.

Mehdi Hassan Limon, Vice President of Huawei's Public Education Sector for the Middle East and Central Asia, introduced the company’s 1+3 Smart Education Solution. The solution supports digital training, smart classrooms, scientific research, and central education management systems. He also launched Huawei’s Digital Training 2.0 solution for the region, which provides scalable tools to cultivate the next generation of ICT professionals.

“With deployments in more than 2,800 universities and 500,000 schools globally, Huawei is committed to making education more accessible, connected, and future-proof,” Limon stated.

The ThinkAI Forum for Smart Education was attended by over 1,500 participants, including industry leaders, tech experts, and educators. The event featured more than 30 exhibition zones and interactive sessions that highlighted the latest developments in smart education and digital transformation across various sectors.

Huawei reaffirmed its role as a strategic partner in transforming essential public services, including education, by offering adaptable, cost-effective, and easily deployable digital solutions tailored to regional needs.
