Dubai, 25 March 2019: Winter has officially come to the Middle East as the most anticipated TV season of all time - the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones - premieres exclusively on OSN, the region’s leading entertainment network.

The wait for the final season may feel longer than winter in Westeros, but the end is in sight and Season 8 promises to be an epic and thrilling conclusion to the most successful global television fantasy series in history.

The new season of HBO’s epic series will air weekly on OSN Series First HD at 10pm (KSA), starting Monday 15 April with English and Arabic subtitles.

For newcomers who don’t know a Targaryen from a Tully, or the die-hard Thrones fan wanting to relive the drama ahead of the new season, every battle, betrayal and brutality in Westeros from seasons one to seven are available for catch up with OSN Play and On Demand, or on the brand new OSN Binge Channel from 1 April.

OSN is also marking the arrival of season 8 with an exciting social media competition calling on the region’s fandom to unleash their creativity. From fashion or design to baking, braiding or painting, use your talents to show your love for the Throne. Simply share an image or a video of your GoT inspired creations with #OSNGoTTheThrone on Twitter until April 15. Entries will be shared on www.osn.com/en-ae/game-of-thrones/competition, where the post with the most votes will win a GoT trip of a lifetime.

Preceded only by live cricket, GoT is the most viewed show of all time on OSN Play. It is also the most highly consumed TV series on OSN on Demand.
