GEMS Education Students Leave Messages of Hope for Children Through UNICEFs First Global Campaign

Students from GEMS Modern Academy expressed their solidarity for less lucky children from Syria, Namibia, Greece, Sierra Leone and El Salvador by learning more about their stories and leaving their messages of hope at a United Nations Children's Fund's exhibition.

Labelled 'There is Hope', the event at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) showcased UNICEF's very first global campaign recording stories of how lives of children and grownups have changed considerably through funds and donations.

Commemorating UNICEF's 70th anniversary, the campaign showed the effect and relevance of UNICEF's job, via first-hand accounts of individuals that obtained assistance as children and had their lives transformed consequently.

GEMS Modern Academy students discovered these children from an interactive photo wall and video clips in preparation of World Children's Day on November 20.
