GEMS Education and East Sports Management Host the Third Edition of GEMS Swim Cup

As part of the GEMS Sports Series - in partnership with East Sports Management (ESM) - 637 students throughout GEMS Education institutions in the UAE and Nairobi joined the 3rd edition of the GEMS Swim Cup held at the Hamdan Sports Complex in between April 18 and 19.

For the very first time GEMS Sports Series have hosted pupils worldwide - where 24 students - between the ages 9 and 15 - from the Cambridge International School, Nairobi competed at the GEMS Swim Cup.

Within the GEMS Education, 8 swimmers are nationwide and international level achievers from Jumeirah University, GEMS Dubai American Academy, GEMS Wellington International School, GEMS World Academy and GEMS Wellington Academy, Silicon Oasis.

Introduced in 2017, the GEMS Sports Series offers students with a platform enabling them to display their sporting ability; creating healthy and affordable sports capacities. The series give an option of championships - an affordable, inclusive and active platform for trainees from all backgrounds - by going visit going against their peers in a selection of sports within the GEMS school network.
