Ministry of Education Signs MoU with Core42 to Advance Digital Transformation in Education
The Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Core42, a company specializing in advanced technical and AI-driven solutions, to strengthen digital transformation efforts in the UAE’s education sector. The partnership aims to enhance the quality of educational and administrative services, improve digital efficiency, and elevate the overall customer experience.
Under the agreement, both entities will collaborate on several key areas, including the development of digital infrastructure, designing smart solutions, and building the digital capabilities of educational and administrative staff. The MoU also calls for the creation of joint task forces to oversee implementation, monitor progress, and assess the impact of digital initiatives on service quality and institutional performance.
His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, commended Core42 for its leadership in advancing digital transformation across various sectors, emphasizing its deep expertise in artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. He noted that these technologies are vital enablers for building an advanced and adaptive digital education ecosystem.
“This MoU reflects the Ministry’s vision to enhance the competitiveness of the education system through technological innovation and the integration of artificial intelligence in all areas of our work,” H.E. Al Qasim stated. “Our collaboration with Core42 represents a significant step forward in harnessing digital solutions that support the continuous progress of education in the UAE.”
Talal Al Kaissi, Executive Vice President and Chief Government Affairs & Partnerships Officer at Core42 and Acting Group Chief Global Affairs Officer at G42 Group, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s digital excellence agenda.
“Our partnership with the Ministry of Education reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to embedding digital excellence across sectors,” Al Kaissi said. “We are building the technological foundation for a smarter, more resilient education ecosystem that leverages sovereign cloud, trusted data, and AI to enhance learning outcomes and operational efficiency.”
The signing ceremony took place during GITEX Global 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, in the presence of H.E. Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim and H.E. Talal M. Al Kaissi. The MoU was formally signed by H.E. Hamad Al Belmahaina, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry of Education, and Mr. Rajeev Nair, Chief Delivery Officer at Core42.
This strategic partnership aligns with the Ministry’s broader goal of modernizing the UAE’s digital education ecosystem and advancing national objectives under the UAE Digital Government Strategy. By adopting next-generation technologies and AI-driven solutions, the Ministry aims to create a future-ready education system that supports innovation, inclusivity, and sustainable development.
