Fast & Furious 7 & Cinderella lead season of outstanding movies this August only on OSN

OSN, the regions leading pay-TV network, brings another great line-up of action movies, hilarious comedies, kids films, season finales, brand new series and popular US talk shows enough content for the whole family to enjoy hours of great television and all at the same time as the US, during the month of August.

Movie-lovers are in for a treat on OSN Movies Box Office HD with the arrival of Fast & Furious 7 (August 12) the thriller that sees the return of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), whilst the Disney classic Cinderella (August 19), in which Ella (Lily James) finds herself at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and her daughters, caters to our younger viewers. Other exciting movie premieres on OSN Movies HD include Big Hero 6, Lucy, Divergent, John Wick & Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Something fishy is going on at the Discovery Channel HD as a host of programmes about sharks will be circling its way to OSN screens with Shark Week from August 24 to 30 at 10.40pm KSA. Join shark researchers Paul Clarkin, Ian Shive and Rodney Fox as they present fascinating episodes such as The Sharks of Cuba, Alien Sharks: Close Encounter, and The Return of the Great White Serial Killer.

Also watch Hacking the System, which premieres on August 12 on the National Geographical Channel HD at 11.50pm KSA. It charts the life of Brian Brushwood a man who made a career out of social manipulation and thinking like a criminal, as he reveals legal tips, tricks and shortcuts to get ahead in life, one hack at a time.

Over on OSN First HD, the fourth & final season of Strike Back an action thriller portraying a secretive unit of British military intelligence that takes part in special high-risk operations missions across the globe - at 10:00pm KSA Sundays & Mondays from August 16.

Popular continuing series C.S.I., in which a group of forensic investigators at the Las Vegas Crime Lab work to solve often-grisly crimes in Sin City, is in its final season. Stay tuned every Saturdays from August 15.

The final season of the supernatural drama Hemlock Grove, and Hannibal, the psychological thriller starring the brilliant psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter, will see its premiere on OSN Play, the award-winning online catch-up TV service for OSN subscribers, on August 10. A day without laughter is a day wasted. Comedy lovers can look forward to WWE legend, The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) playing Spencer Strasmore in Ballers, premiering on August 24 at 10.30pm on OSN First Comedy HD, as a Miami-based ex-footballer turned financial manager who builds a client base of young talent but quickly struggles to help them navigate the many traps that come with life as big-time "ballers.

August 24 at 10.00pm (KSA) will also see the exclusive premiere of The Brink, starring Tim Robbins, as top U.S. government and military personnel scramble to prevent World War 3 from happening amidst the chaos of a geopolitical crisis.

Last but not least, live and uninterrupted talk shows from the US have a special place at OSN with the month of August being no different. From Tuesday to Saturdays, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon starts at 8.00pm (KSA); Late Night with Seth Myers from 11.30pm (KSA); the Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore from 9.30pm (KSA). Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is from Mondays at 9.30pm (KSA).

Last but definitely not the least, in its season finale, The Daily Show with John Stewart is from 9.00pm with the final episode airing on August 6 only on OSN.
