Empower, the worlds largest district cooling services provider, has been awarded the Dubai Chamber CSR Label in recognition of its success in operating sustainably and responsibly across its corporate practices. The company received the label at a dedicated event held at Dubai Chambers headquarters.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Label was developed by Dubai Chamber to function as a concise and voluntary standard for businesses across the emirate to incorporate corporate social responsibility practices across their operations. It is a formal recognition that a company has accomplished consistent and effective corporate social responsibility goals across its philosophies and operations, and is a clear indication to stakeholders of its commitment to serving its community.

Commenting on receiving the label, His Excellency Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower, said: We are very pleased to receive this honor, and we are very grateful to have the opportunity to give back to our community. I would like to thank Dubai Chamber for this recognition, as well as congratulate all the companies who have also received this label. This achievement reflects the combined commitment of each Empower staff member to serving the communities in which we operate.

The company earned the CSR Label following a thorough assessment of its corporate strategy, policies and management practices. Throughout the evaluation, Dubai Chamber also explored Empowers employee satisfaction and environmental impact, along with its community and social initiatives.
