Emirates Islamic Contributes AED 300,000 to Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department

Emirates Islamic, among the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, contributed AED 300,000 to the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD), in the direction of the assistance of needy and disadvantaged members of the community. The contribution is in line with the Year of Granting and Emirates Islamic's proceeding dedication to altruistic initiatives in the UAE.

In support of HE Dr. Hamad Bin Al Sheikh Ahmed Al Shaibani, Director General of the IACAD, Ahmad Darwish Al Muhairi, Executive Director for the Charitable Work Sector at IACAD received the contribution cheque from Awatif Al Harmoodi, General Manager of Operational Governance at Emirates Islamic in the presence of Mohammed Suleiman Al Bloushi, Director of Zakat Beneficiaries' Affairs Department and other officials. Al Harmoodi praised the important role that IACAD plays in terms of monitoring the requirements of the much less privileged in the community, along with offering Emirates Islamic a platform of contribution to support charitable initiatives in the UAE. "As an Islamic bank, it is our obligation in order to help IACAD's beneficiaries and we are delighted that our payment will certainly sustain their requirements," claimed Al Harmoodi.

"Emirates Islamic has formerly supported a number of IACAD's charitable and humanitarian efforts and we will remain to sustain projects that contribute to the successful and worthwhile partnership between our two organisations," she included.
