Eight is my lucky number: Roger Federer, ahead of chasing his 100th title and eighth trophy in Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 25 February 2019: The two-week long tournament that commenced on 17 February will see the tennis heartthrob Roger Federer play his first-round match against Germanys Philipp Kohlschreiber tonight 7 pm at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

With the proposed match, the seven-time champion at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships will also be chasing his 100th career singles title. And who doesnt fancy the sight of Roger Federer smashing a fire blazing hit? During his stay in Dubai ahead of the match, Federer was found talking Tennis and Dubai with the Tournament Director, Salah Tahlak when they met up at the recently established record of the tallest lounge in the world The Lounge in the Burj Khalifa.

It would be very special to win (my 100th title) anywhere, but special also here in Dubai where I have enjoyed so much success. It would be my eighth title here. Eight is my favorite number, because I was born on 8 August 1981, so eight has always had a significant meaning for me, remarked Federer.
