Dubai Government Workshop

The training course organized by The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has announced the conclusion of its course with the aim of enhancing the capabilities of all staff members under the theme 6S That Drives Quality. The resourcefulness falls in line with DGWs efforts to empower and enable employees to effectively contribute to ensuring the safety of vehicles and efficiency and leading services and supports the Dubai Governments journey towards excellence. The course conducted for three-day training session focused on educating staff in relation to best safety practices, SAFETY, STANDARDIZE, SHINE, SET IN ORDER, SUSTAIN, SORT, bond to the highest international standards, capacity building in the area of maintenance and repair, and explored the advanced technologies and materials being used in vehicle manufacturing.

H.E Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi, Deputy Executive Director, DGW, stated to enhance the skills of employees to that the course reaffirmed the governmental departments commitment to developing and implementing integrated training programs to within its various departments and sections; adding that such initiatives form part of the Workshops efforts to move ahead on the path of excellence by offering leading services to customers in accordance with the highest international standards and best practices.

He further pointed out that investment in human capital is enhancing the skills of staff members and that the adoption of best practices to reach highest international standards ensures the safety and happiness of customers and while supporting the nations efforts to instill happiness as part of the national culture.

Al Raeesi said: We highly appreciate the dedication and commitment constantly demonstrated by everyone at KAIZEN in supporting our strategy to integrate innovation and technology and improve the quality of fleet maintenance and management; which plays a significant role in supporting excellence pursued by the governments of both Dubai and the UAE. This initiative was a result of our fruitful cooperation with leading private sector entities and strategic partners that support The March of change and development of the Engineering Maintenance Department, led by its manager, Mr. Aqil Al Janahi as manager of Department. We believe such partnerships enable us to further enrich our employees' skills and knowledge by providing them with innovative learning experiences. This will help DGW upgrade the quality of services offered and keep pace with the rapid technological advancements thereby meeting the current and future needs of our customers to support the Dubai Governments vision for excellence.

The constant learning program builds on the team's knowledge and experience at all levels, based on the latest techniques and technologies, and was held as part of a comprehensive learning and development program for all DGW employees. Organized with the commitment of an in-house DGW training crew and private sector partners Al-Futtaim, one of the leading automotive distributors in UAE, attendees over its duration included Miodrag Milutinovic, Corporate Aftersales Manager, and Omer Kolthoum, Aftersales Key Accounts Manager.
