Dubai Electronic Security Center partners with the region's largest cyber security event 'HITB + CyberWeek'

Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) has announced its plan partnership with the region's largest international forum, Hack in the Box + (HIDP) Cyber Week. The event will take place at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi on 1217 October.

This fifth edition of HITB Cyber Week includes a three-day conference, several public seminars, advanced technology workshops and training sessions.

Senior director of innovation and research at DESC, Dr Marwan Alzarouni said: "As a strategic partner of the acclaimed forum, DESC continues to support HITB in accordance with its Cyber Security Strategy and its innovation platform, which is dedicated to promoting cyber security research and development."

The partnership is part of DESCs strategy to improve the UAE's cyber security landscape by promoting innovative solutions and building strategic partnerships that keep the region ahead of the game, it places itself at the forefront of the global conversation and supports special events such as the HITB, the region's largest cyber security event.

The event will bring together some of the most respected names in the computer security industry and discuss the latest cyber security challenges and strategic elements of digital transformation.
