Cylingas EHS Statistics records, 1.2 Million Safe Man Hours without LTI, on various phases of Project ELOMP

Cylingas, a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), records 1.2 Million Safe Man Hours without Lost Time Incident, on various phases of ENOC Lubricants and Grease Manufacturing Plant (ELOMP) in Fujairah. Currently phase III expansion is under construction.

Cylingas, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor of the expansion project, is progressing as per schedule on the job, which involves the design, supply, fabrication, testing and commissioning of Base Oil storage tanks and vessels, additive storage vessels and compartmental tanks as well as piping, truck loading gantry and associated civil and E&I works.

With 50 per cent of the work undertaken as of October 2014 within the premises, Cylingas is on schedule to commission the project in mid-2015. The additive vessels and Base Oil tank, which were manufactured at the Cylingas manufacturing facility, have been delivered and erected on site.

The expansion of ELOMP is to further enhance tankage for storing raw materials and finished products. Cylingas has been the partner of the plant in the first two phases, with the work delivered to the highest standards of safety and security.

The third phase of ELOMPs expansion is managed by ENOC Engineering & Project Management (E&PM). The proposed facility consists of base oil tanks, additive vessels, finished product compartmental tank, truck loading bay, auto batch blender, drum decanting unit with associated facilities such as pumping stations, electrical system extension, instrumentation and pipe rack extension, among others.
