Burgan Banks new core banking system to roll out during 5-7 May 2016

Burgan Bank, Kuwaits second largest commercial bank by assets, announced today that it will be upgrading its current banking system to a new banking platform in order to better serve its clients. The system upgrade will occur over the period of Thursday May 5th to Saturday May 7th.

Customers might face system interruptions in banking services on Thursday 5th, Friday 6th, and Saturday 7th of May 2016 due to the migration to the new system. In addition, all branches will be closed on the evening of Wednesday 4th of May. The Airport Branch will be fully closed on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th May and will reopen on Saturday 7th May for customers.

Burgan Bank extends its appreciation to all customers for their patience and continuous support especially during the implementation period of the new system.

Burgan Bank will continue to receive customers enquires regarding the new system through its branch network and call center 1804080.
