Blue is the new colour of happiness as Dubai Shopping Festival and Etisalat present The Smurfs Live on Stage at Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring the beloved world famous characters who embark on a magical adventure to save Mother Nature from Gargamels wicked plans and bring back Smurfs favorite season, the Spring, to celebrate the annual Spring Parade.

It is one of a kind stage play that shows family values and unity among kids, to protect and nourish mother nature, and I am very happy that the show inculcates those values to my kid said Charlemagne Cruz, 36 years old from the Philippines, who brought his 5-year old daughter, Sandra, to enjoy the shows World Premiere, which was launched on 16 January.

From the books to the movies, Smurfs are the kids ultimate favorites, and I couldn't be happier to see smiles on their faces while watching Smurfs live on stage said Hannah, from Jordan, who attended the show with her friend and compatriot Farrah, along with their kids, Rekan and Jude. They were dancing and singing along with the songs and they really had a great time said Farrah.

It is a show that they will remember and treasure forever said Omar, a Canadian who is very thankful to DSF for bringing the best shows to Dubai.

My three kids, Arianna Hamdan, Jasmine Hamdan and Abdul Rahim loves the Smurfs so much and I think it is the kind of show that every kid and the young at heart should watch. It is about listening to your parents, working together in harmony, honesty and to have the courage to stand against bad deeds. Kids can make mistakes but in the end, with the right amount of guidance and support, they can surely right those wrongs and once you train a child in good habits, when your kid becomes older, he or she will never depart from it. The show is all about these values with superb performances and lots of singing and dancing Omar said.

DSF 2015 is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) and will run until 1 February 2015, offering more than 150 citywide attractions and mega events, numerous shopping opportunities and winning options for visitors from around the world.
