Al Qasimia University and Masjid Al Qasimia University create visual delight during Sharjah Light Festival 2016

Al Qasimia University and Masjid Al Qasimia University are hosting a set of exciting programs as part of the Sharjah Light Festival 2016, which started on February 4. The festival, which is the first occasion of its kind in the area, will create 10 captivating nights this year transforming the emirate's significant heritage structures and landmarks into works of art.

The new building of the Al Qasimia University, which is understood for its enforcing infrastructure, includes the show, 'A Falcon's Flight'. The show will open with a huge velvet drape sweeping across the massive structure faade, explaining the story of a falcon's travel to enchantingly stunning locations.

Masjid Al Qasimia University with its splendid architecture hosts the show, 'Inspiring Islamic Architecture'. Positioned alongside the breathtaking Al Qasimia University, the Masjid has been attracting attention during the Festival with a program that takes visitors on a journey through time and area to some of the most fantastic architectural structures from across the Islamic world. Throughout the show, the columns, pillars and arches of the mosque get changed into a variety of design and styles, providing an unusual visual delight to the visitors.

Sharjah Light Festival, now into its 6th year, has been organized by Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. The celebration is being held from February 4 to 13 from 6pm to 11 pm on weekdays and till midnight on weekends. Sharjah Light Festival has added 10 brand-new programs to the celebration this year, bringing 23 unique experiences to the emirate.
