Al Marjan Island Honours Government Entities and Partners for Support to 2018 Ras Al Khaimah New Years Eve Fireworks

Al Marjan Island organised an unique event to honour the government entities and various other partners for their unwavering support in hosting the 2018 Ras Al Khaimah New Years Eve Fireworks which set the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Largest aerial firework shell.

At the ceremony, mementos presented to senior officials of various government entities including Ras Al Khaimah Police, Public Works & Services Department, UAE National Ambulance, RAK Tourism Development Authority and Etisalat, among others.

Held at Al Marjan Island, Dual Tree, the ceremony was participated in by high-ranking government authorities and senior representatives of the different government entities and private sector companions. A presentation of the '2018 Ras Al Khaimah New Year's Eve Fireworks' was made before the recognized target market.

Addressing the individuals, Eng. Abdullah Al Abdooli, Chief Executive Officer of Al Marjan Island, said thanks to the authorities for their specialized initiatives, dedication and support to earning the occasion an incredible success.

Elaborate preparations work went into the hosting of the event. More than 5,000 additional public car garage were provided to invite the visitors. While it took over 600 hrs to design the show by Phil Grucci, one more 70,000 man-hours went into transitioning the design with a team of 40 professionals including developers, manufacturers, pyrotechnicians and documentarians servicing the project.
