Air Arabia won the 13th Aviation Business Awards for Low-Cost Airline of the Year

Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, recently won the Low-Cost Airline of the Year recognition at the 13th Aviation Business Awards (AVP) Exhibition held in Dubai.

Air Arabia was selected by the Expert Panel of Industry Judges in the Low-Cost Airline of the Year category for the carrier's innovation, sustainable performance and continued growth.

Adel Al Ali, Group CEO of Air Arabia, said: Winning the "Low Cost Airline of the Year" reaffirms Air Arabia's industry leadership and the exceptional value we provide to our customers. With a focus on innovation and a commitment to attracting the latest technology, we will continue to focus on adding new ways of connecting more and more people around the world, while delivering added value to our customers.

Air Arabia added 10 new routes to its global network in the first half of this year. Currently, Air Arabia operates flights to more than 170 global destinations in 50 countries from four centers in the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Egypt. To add to the customer experience, in the first half of 2019, Air Arabia launched a new complimentary flight entertainment system, 'Skytime', which allows travelers to live stream digital content with carriers on smart phones, tablets or laptops.

In April, Air Air Arabia won Best Low Cost Carrier Award by Oman Airports In recognition of its continued commitment to the satisfaction and development of travelers within the industry.
