UAE Flag Day in Abu Dhabi headquarters was celebrated by Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), which falls on the 3rd of November each year, hailing the national spirit that embodies the highest sense of belonging and loyalty. The occasion is celebrated in response to the call Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to all citizens and entities and ministries to simultaneously raise the UAE flag, in an expression of belonging to the nation, recognising the values symbolised by the flag; its place in the hearts of the sons and daughters of the country; and a duty and a feeling borne by the heart of every citizen and resident.

H.E Dr. Rauda Al Saadi, Director General of ADDA, hosted the UAE flag in the presence of ADDAs senior officials and all employees who expressed their deep gratitude and love to their country.

H.E Dr. Rauda Al Saadi commented: I would like to extend my sincere greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; and their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers, and the people of the UAE and residents on the occasion of the Flag Day which embodies the supreme national meanings and values of loyalty; and belonging to the homeland and its wise leaderships vision.

HE Dr. Rauda added: The Flag Day is a special occasion to convey our deep love and gratitude to the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the wise leaders, who laid the foundations of the Union, and instilled the values of giving and love for the homeland in us. She further emphasized that the day marks the renewal of our covenant to follow their footsteps, moving closer towards the achievement of their vision to harness all potentials to increase the happiness of people and ensure prosperity of future generations.

Her Excellency concluded: On this day, we renew our commitment to continuing our efforts to uphold the nations standing, and the symbol of our unity among nations, once again underscoring its global status as a model for development and construction, and highlighting its human values as a beacon of tolerance, virtues and giving.''
