Accor and Dubai-based developer CITYVIEW Developments have announced the signing of Mövenpick Residences Dubai Motor City, a 408-residence project that will become the first standalone Mövenpick-branded residences globally and the first branded residential development in Dubai Motor City.

Scheduled for completion and opening in 2028, the project will offer studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom residences, combining Mövenpick’s hospitality concept with residential living.

408 residences planned in Dubai Motor City

The development will feature a range of amenities designed around wellness, recreation and social interaction, including a fitness centre, indoor and outdoor lounges, a padel court, BBQ area, pet grooming facilities, kids club and multiple swimming pools.

Homeowners will also have access to Accor’s Owner Benefits Programme, including elevated status in the ALL Accor loyalty programme and privileges at participating Accor hotels and resorts worldwide.

The project has already received recognition at the International Property Awards, where it was named a double winner.

Project targets growing demand for branded residences

Located in Dubai Motor City, the development will add a hospitality-led residential offering to an established mixed-use community with residential, retail, dining and leisure facilities.

The project is approximately 20 minutes from Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina and around 30 minutes from Downtown Dubai, Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.

The launch comes amid continued growth in Dubai's branded residential market. According to figures cited by the companies, Dubai recorded a 26% year-on-year increase in branded-residence transaction volumes and a 51% rise in total sales value during the first nine months of 2025.

Knight Frank's The Residence Report 2026/27 estimates that more than 31,300 branded residential units are planned in Dubai between 2025 and 2030, representing about 8% of the city's overall new residential pipeline.

Accor expands branded living portfolio

Raki Phillips, Regional President for Accor's Premium, Midscale and Economy division across the Middle East, Africa and Türkiye, said the project reflects the expansion of branded residences beyond the traditional luxury segment.

He said Mövenpick's global recognition and focus on togetherness make it suited to a broader residential market, while the Motor City project demonstrates how Accor is extending its hospitality brands into new residential environments.

The development will be supported by Accor One Living, which provides expertise across the development, design and operation of mixed-use projects and branded residential communities.

Daniel von Barloewen, Senior Vice President, Global Mixed-Use Development at Accor One Living, said the platform allows the group to work with development partners from the early stages of a project to shape residential concepts, services and homeowner experiences.

CITYVIEW focuses on wellness and long-term living

Iskander Enikeev, Director of Commercial Strategy at CITYVIEW Developments, said the project aims to build on Motor City's established residential character while introducing a stronger focus on wellness and longevity.

The developer said the residence concept will include facilities and services intended to encourage movement, recovery, healthier routines and long-term wellbeing.

The Mövenpick Residences project follows the partnership between Accor and CITYVIEW Developments on Hyde Residences Dubai Hills. The two companies are also exploring further residential projects across Dubai.
