7X and Zelostech Sign Landmark Joint Venture to Launch Autonomous Urban Logistics in the Middle East

In a groundbreaking move set to redefine last-mile delivery in the Middle East, 7X has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with ZELOS TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. (Zelostech) to launch Level 4 autonomous urban logistics services in the region. This strategic collaboration aims to leverage cutting-edge AI and driverless vehicle technologies to boost logistics efficiency, aligning with the UAE’s innovation-driven and sustainability-focused vision.

The agreement was officially signed at Zelostech’s headquarters in China by Tariq Al Wahedi, Acting Group CEO of 7X, and Kong Qi, CEO of Zelostech, in the presence of senior officials from 7X, EMX, and Zelostech. The ceremony was followed by a visit to Zelostech’s vehicle production line, where the 7X and EMX delegation received insights into the company’s technological capabilities and manufacturing processes.

As part of the agreement, the newly formed joint venture will initially support the delivery operations of EMX, 7X’s logistics subsidiary. By integrating Zelostech’s advanced autonomous technologies with 7X’s operational infrastructure and delivery network, the project aims to significantly enhance the quality and efficiency of last-mile logistics services. Over time, the venture plans to expand its services to third-party clients across the UAE.

The long-term vision of the joint venture includes establishing a regional headquarters in the UAE to support large-scale commercialisation and regional operations across the GCC and wider Middle East. The collaboration is designed to lay the groundwork for a model ecosystem for autonomous logistics, contributing to the development of smart cities and sustainable transportation networks.
