AI expansion on its track to be witnessed in Dubai Police by deploying 36 RPA robots

Dubai Police has deployed 36 robotic process automation (RPA) robots across various tasks as the authority expands its use of artificial intelligence and automation to improve productivity and public services.

RPA, often referred to as software robotics, uses automated bots to perform repetitive and rule-based tasks that would otherwise require human intervention.

According to Dubai Police, the deployment of the robots is helping employees focus more closely on specialised responsibilities by increasing productivity and reducing routine workloads.

High levels of digital reliability

Dubai Police also reported high levels of digital reliability during the current year. The continuity rate for public services reached 99.97 per cent, while system continuity stood at 99.92 per cent.

The figures highlight the authority’s focus on maintaining reliable digital services as technology becomes increasingly integrated into police and administrative operations.

AI use to expand across police operations

Dubai Police plans to further expand the use of artificial intelligence across police, administrative and operational activities.

The authority said AI will be used to support decision-making and improve response times, while automation will continue to streamline routine processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Smart Police Stations support digital services

The authority’s Smart Police Stations are already using technology to make policing services more accessible, faster and more flexible for residents.

The initiative forms part of Dubai Police’s broader digital transformation strategy, with technology increasingly being incorporated into public-facing services as well as internal operations.

The continued expansion of AI and automation is expected to support Dubai Police in reducing repetitive workloads while allowing personnel to dedicate more time to specialised and higher-value tasks.
