Gulf Bank Announces Mr Antoine Daher as Chief Executive Officer

Kuwait-- 30 November 2016: Gulf Bank revealed today the consultation of Mr. Antoine Daher as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 December 2016, complying with the approval of the Central Bank of Kuwait. Mr. Daher, previously Gulf Bank's Deputy CEO, does well Mr. Cesar Gonzalez-Bueno who had actually been Chief Executive Officer since March 2014.

Mr. Omar Kutayba Alghanim, Chairman of Gulf Bank, talked about the consultation: "We are extremely delighted to welcome Mr. Antoine Daher as Gulf Bank's brand-new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Daher was assigned the setting of Replacement Chief Executive Officer, Wholesale Banking at Gulf Bank in 2013. Prior to signing up with Gulf Bank, he acted as General Manager for Residential Company Banking at National Bank of Kuwait from 2011 to 2013 and Head of the Residential International unit from 2007 to 2011. Mr. Daher also workinged from National City Bank in the U.S.A, where he held several position in Project Finance, Structured Money, Corporate Banking, and Capital Markets.

Mr. Daher holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, and an MBA from Case Western Reserve Universityin Ohio. He has also gone to Exec Education courses offered by the Harvard Business School.
