RTA's Licensing Agency is gearing for offering excellent bundles of number plates for the first time by means of the 91st Open Auction set up on Saturday May 28th at Princess Hall, Grand Hyatt Hotel in Dubai. About 80 distinct plates with 2, three, 4 and five-digits will be on offer on the day of the auction, and registration will open Sunday May 22nd.

" Launching the 91st open auction comes from the have to serve the demands of consumers covering a broad spectrum of community members, particularly those thinking about acquiring fancy automobile number plates. The forthcoming open auction will see the auction debut of new codes particularly W, U, S and X over & above a selection of distinctive codes, each consisting of 2, three, four and 5 digit plates," stated Sultan Al Marzooki, Director of Vehicle Licensing, RTA's Licensing Agency.

Reflecting on procedural aspects of the auction, Al Marzooki said: "Registration for the auction will start on May 22nd and continue through May 28th through RTA's customer service centers (Umm Al Romool, Deira and Al Barsha) in Dubai, or online through (www.rta.ae). Registration needs depositing a retrievable cheque amounting to AED25 thousand, and bidding would start at 04:30 pm."
