Undersecretary of MOHAP Meets Dutch Ambassador to Further Cooperation in Health Sector

H.E Dr. Mohammad Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) met with H.E Frank Mollen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United Arab Emirates, in the office of the Ministry in Abu Dhabi, in the visibility of Dr. Issa Al Mansouri, Director of the Undersecretary Office and Director of the International Health Relations.

The meeting discussed the possibilities for teamwork in the area of health, exchange of experiences and delegations, importance of participation in the Arab Health exhibit and congress in Dubai, together with the importance of the government's initiatives to fight obesity, promote a healthy way of life and enhance steps focused on decreasing the price of lifestyle diseases. The experience of leading Dutch business in the field of clinical tools and supplies, and the assistance of citizens' travel for therapy at Dutch clinical centers were also discussed.

The Undersecretary pointed out the importance of the meeting in establishing health connections between both nations, which subsequently contributes to the development of the health system and upgrading the high quality of health solutions. The Dutch ambassador applauded the development of the health sector in the UAE and the schedule of facilities, technologies and modern clinical devices and the constant rehab of clinical personnel. The benefits of the health legislation according to the global requirements were also lauded, and the ambassador revealed his wish to advance the level of cooperation in between the two nations in the health industry.
