UAE and Chile Strengthen Ties in Economy, Tourism, and Technology

H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy of the UAE, and H.E. Nicolás Grau, Minister of Economy, Development, and Tourism of Chile, held a bilateral meeting to explore and strengthen economic collaboration between the two nations. The discussions focused on key sectors such as the new economy, tourism, aviation, entrepreneurship, e-commerce, renewable energy, technology, and agriculture.

• Enhanced Economic Relations: H.E. Bin Touq emphasized the UAE's commitment to deepening its economic partnership with Chile, a key South American partner. The UAE aims to elevate bilateral relations to new heights, leveraging the favorable investment climate in Chile.

• Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA): The recent signing of CEPA between the UAE and Chile marks a significant milestone in bilateral economic cooperation. The agreement aims to boost investment flows, expand trade, and foster private sector partnerships, facilitating market access for companies in both Asia and South America.

• Focus on SMEs and Entrepreneurship: The ministers highlighted the importance of empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and supporting their access to international markets.
