Turkish Cargo, a sub-brand of Turkish Airlines, has bolstered its position as a leading global player in the air cargo industry winning Overall Carrier of the Year and Combination Carrier of the Year awards at the 30th Payload Asia Awards Ceremony.

The annual awards, held in Singapore, are organised by industry publication Payload Asia and celebrate excellence, highlighting the air cargo supply chain organisations that are making a significant impact in the industry.

As one of the fastest-growing air cargo brands in the world, Turkish Cargo witnessed a growth of 22 per cent in 2013, and increased by 20.6 per cent in the Jan-Sep period of 2014. The two leading awards scooped by Turkish Cargo acknowledged this success.

On behalf of Turkish Cargo the two wins were presented to Turkish Cargo Asia-Pacific Regional Director Mr. Hseyin Ceyhan by Singapore CAAS (Civil Aviation Authority) and General Director Mr. Yap Ong Heng.
