Three new ambassadors were sworn in yesterday (Monday) at Al Mushrif Palace before His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad wished the ambassadors success in their responsibilities that serve the interests of the UAE and its individuals. Shaikh Mohammad said that the UAE leadership cares about the capabilities of Emiratis, national cohesion, and peaceful coexistence and equality amongst all people worldwide. He pointed out that this has always been the UAE's policy.

Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, presented at the ceremony.

Ali Abdullah Al Ahmad, UAE Ambassador to Germany, Ahmad Mohammad Yousuf Al Tunaiji, UAE Ambassador to Belarus, and Ahmad Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico, pledged commitment to the UAE and its leadership and constitution.

Later on, Shaikh Mohammad likewise got the credentials of the ambassadors of Norway, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Yemen, Cyprus, Australia, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Fiji.

Shaikh Mohammad welcomed the new ambassadors, and wished them success in their tasks to improve cooperation and relations between the UAE and their respective nations.

He stated that the doors of federal government and authorities are always open for joint consultations and exchange of constructive views and concepts that would open brand-new avenues of cooperation in between states and peoples for the welfare and advantage of all.

The new ambassadors conveyed the greetings of their presidents and heads of federal government to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Present throughout the ceremony and reception were Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, and other officials.
